Né en 1970. Après un premier reportage en Afrique à 11 ans lors d’un voyage avec sa mère, Alexis Armanet effectue des études de cinéma à Paris. Travaillant avec différents photographes il rencontre Mario Testino et devient son assistant avant de devenir celui de Nathaniel Goldberg. Il couvre divers domaines, de la mode au photojournalisme. Born in 1970. After making his first photo-documentary in Africa at the age of 11 whilst travelling with his mother, Alexis Armanet went on to study cinema in Paris. Working with different photograpers, he met Mario Testino and became his assistant before going on to assist Nathaniel Goldberg. His work covers many disciplines, from photojournalism to fashion.
